In this full time, hybrid role (on the road and office), you'll be responsible for
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building and managing long-term client relationships
- Delivering product demonstrations that showcase value
- Closing sales and achieving revenue targets
- Attending trade shows and networking events
- Creating sales reports and supporting marketing strategies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Confident managing the full sales cycle
- Experience or understanding of machinery, software, or storage systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiar with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Willing to travel as needed – including occasional training trips to Poland.
- A background in engineering or the manufacturing sector is a strong advantage
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
- Fluent English speaker

As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you’ll be reporting directly to the Production Manager and working with a modern Bystronic press brake (just 2 years old!). If you’ve used other machines in the past, no problem – full cross-training is available.
Your daily tasks will include:
• Setting and operating press brake machinery
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working closely with the production team to meet targets
Solid experience with press brake machines (Bystronic preferred but not essential)
Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
Previous experience in a similar setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic role where no two days are the same, with the full project lifecycle under your control – from quote to completion.
What you'll be doing
You’ll work closely with the company Directors and a fellow Estimator, managing the quoting and costing process for projects ranging from £150k to £2.5m. This is a non-sales role – all business comes from existing clients, so there’s no cold calling involved.
Key responsibilities
Preparing accurate cost estimates and client quotations.
Reviewing and assessing supplier quotes.
Supporting project planning and ensuring clear communication at project launch.
Attending site meetings as required.
Liaising with Quantity Surveyors, suppliers, and clients throughout the process.
Managing projects from cradle to grave, including handling any adjustments mid-project.
Ensuring all compliance, regulation, and standard requirements are met.
Collaborating with engineers and designers to deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions.
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Estimator role.
Solid knowledge of architectural metalwork, secondary steelwork, and the construction industry.
Ability to read technical drawings; CAD knowledge is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
A motivated, proactive, and analytical mindset.
Clear, confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, and risk management.
